DOUBLE BARREL is a tribute trailer to John Woo's amazing Hong Kong action films like The Killer and Hard Boiled and tells the story of two Hong Kong twins who wind up on either side of the law. When it turns out one of the brothers has been working undercover, the two brothers must join forces to defeat the Triads and become a family again.
DOUBLE BARREL was a passion project created in summer 2007 "in the style of" 1980's Hong Kong action films. Much effects work went into recreating the washed out look of the old film stock as well as incorporating gunfights, explosions, and the twins, both played by Ron Velasco.
